Ash is more than just a game!

I felt compelled to sign up for an account and post my opinions regarding Ash.

I just finished Ash today, and this was one of those very few games I just wanted to keep on playing forever. I'm actually glad Ash ended like it did, because that hopefully means that there will be a sequel sometime in the future.
Thanks SRRN games for making Ash. It's my favorite iPhone game and it feels like it's so much more than just a game! I can't wait for Ash 2!

Thanks Fernlas, it's good to know that someone really enjoyed our game! It took a lot of hard work to make, and it really warms the cockles (yes, I just said cockles) of my heart to hear you enjoyed it so.

I just finished ash today while at work (while sitting on the porcelain throne), and I was extremelly sad... Not because the game ended, but because I couldn't find ash 2 (working title) in the app store! I can't wait for the sequel to find out what happens! Can you guys confirm that there will be a sequel? :) (sorry if his was a double post, doing this on my iPhone and it didn't show up the first time!)

First of all Exxon, I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

I can't say anything official regarding a sequel, but know that Ash, as our first major game release, is a game that we don't intend to leave with such a cliffhanger ending. We'll have some officially announced news very very soon, actually.

I'm the type of iPhone gamer that has probably spent over $500 in rpg, action, and adventure style games this year alone. Let me congratulate you. Bravo! This game is incredible. Not only is the story very compelling and actually made me turn off other game systems I own to play it, but the combat system is simple to navigate without sacrificing strategic choice. I have played or at least reviewed almost every rpg on the iPhone and you've crushed them all. I can't wait for a sequel. Please let there be a sequel! To not addend this game with ash 2 would be as sad as final fantasy never being realized as a trilogy. I will leave you with only one suggestion because as a true gamer I believe there is always room for improvement. I would really like to see an angled third person view while in combat. Not that the current system is bad in fact it's quite good. I just like to see the characters in action. Its just something I've grown fond of. Thanks again and keep em comin!

Excellent Game

Just finished the game and had to say that Ash is hands down one of the best games on the iPhone, period. The majority of game apps are pointless level building that don't really go anywhere, but Ash has gripping story and a quick and fun battle system that keeps the game going and held me in for the ride. I'm a long time gamer and it was a joy and pleasure to find a game of such quality of story that is rare these days. My extensive gratitude to the developers for creating such a fantastic experience and if they have the opportunity to create a sequel, I am incredibly excited to support it and see where the story goes.

I love the new update for Ash with all original art! It looks so much better now!

I also wanted to thank you guys once again for making Ash. I never thought id be able to play such an incredible game on my iPhone.

Can you give us any update on the sequel? If you can, thanks in advance!

Hey Guys!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the update! We're so glad to have finally gotten our own art into the game - the licensed art was good, but it often had a sort of stigma associated with it. People typically assumed we just used the RPG Maker engine (which just doesn't work on iOS, so thank you internet people for that gem). However, we did handcraft our own engine for Ash, and now that is clear to everyone without a doubt :D.

For those of you *still* waiting on a sequel, we're *still* not officially allowed to say anything about a sequel.

Continue keeping your eyes peeled, especially before the end of this month ;).
