I read a pretty interesting article today that outlines the trends we have seen in the past few years related to technology and tech industries. With an economy still in the tank, less and less jobs available to new graduates, and the tidal wave of technology (too soon?) that has been crashing down on us over the past 5 years, it's a silver lining to see websites like Kickstarter giving power to ideas. Compromise is such a nasty word. Nobody ends up getting what they want; each party involved just gets something they don’t hate as opposed to something they truly care about. Whether it is two friends deciding on a place to eat, or ANY part of the game design process. Luckily, compromise between two people with very similar tastes ends up being very agreeable; there are of course moments.

Thanks to the help of our fans Nicholas and Damien are ready to continue their journey. The bug which caused the game to crash when the menu button was pressed has been fixed and the update is already available. We will continue to support Ash players and are so glad to hear how much fun you are having and how many of you already can’t wait to start playing Ash II: Shadows. Keep sending us your feedback. Despite having a large break room as an office we still have plenty of work to do around here. Balance tests and bug finding was the extent of most of our weekend, 12am Skype calls to discuss where we need to go from there and neglecting our loved ones made up the rest. When I was younger playing video games felt so much easier than it does now despite the difficulty of those games being so much greater. Very little was ever said to the player and there was almost never a tutorial level. Nowadays we’re spoon fed every inch of a games control scheme before we’re allowed to start playing which makes picking up and playing the game so much more of an ordeal.
